Section AGM – The Human Instrument

November 7, 2025 @ 12:00 am - November 9, 2025 @ 12:00 am

The Annual  meeting of the Section will be held again at the Field Centre , Nailsworth, November 7th – 9th.

Our theme is ” The Human Instrument”

A small group of us has met and come up with this idea . We can see 2 aspects: it both gives us the potential  to explore Goethe’s idea that the human being is ” the most exact scientific instrument”  and the possibility  to look at how we use and develop our selves as instruments to play like a musical instrument in our creative work.

This theme should not exclude contributions where people  have their own  research  to share but with each of these iit would be great to ask what capacities did I use or need to develop to make the research and in what ways has it process developed my being as  my instrument with which I  engage with the world.

If you have something to offer please let me know and we will then develop our programme for the weekend.

Sadly  Howard Smith will not be able to join us and at present I am not sure if there will be some class lesson work beforehand for  members of the School of Spiritual Science as there has been for the last 2 years.
